Strong knowledge of the FIX (4.2, 4.4) protocol for Futures electronic trading (buy/sell sides)

Strong knowledge of OMS concepts

Strong Java/J2eeskills for small to medium development projects.

Expertise in server infrastructure deployment, capacity planning, networking infrastructure setup

Unix, Linux, familiarity with Unix commands and troubleshooting application performance issues

Shell scripting, Perl

Familiarity with networking concepts, understanding of TCP/IP concepts

If possible, experience deploying GL/Sungard software SLE/SLC/…

Futures Product knowledge and experience dealing with the intricacies of the futures exchanges in the Americas

The e-trading technology team supports the technology needs for facilitating Electronic trading on over 50 global exchanges. Our technology stack includes trading system components from Sungard GT [formerly GL Trade], FIX and OMS applications from ULLink, trading applications from Trading Technologies and a wide variety of applications developed in-house.
Most of the applications are developed in Java, J2EE, C++, FIX, perl etc and support Electronic trading, technical on-boarding of clients, reporting, STP feeds to middle and back office systems etc.
